What You Can Expect from Our Yoga Class

Environment and Atmosphere


Our yoga classes take place in a quiet and welcoming environment where you can truly arrive and connect with yourself.


Class Structure


A typical yoga class includes:

  • Concentration (Yantra)

  • Breath exercises (PrĂĄnĂĄyĂĄma)

  • Postures (Ásana)

  • Relaxation (YoganidrĂĄ)

  • Meditation (Samyama)


Preparing for Class & What to Bring


Before you come to your first class, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

  • Comfortable Clothing: Wear clothes that allow you full freedom of movement. Cotton or athletic performance fabrics are ideal.

  • Water: Feel free to bring something to drink.


Arrive Early

Try to be at the studio at least 10 minutes before the class starts. This gives you plenty of time to arrive without rushing, find a comfortable spot, and mentally settle in for your practice.


During the Class


Listen to Your Body

One of the most important lessons in yoga is to listen to your own body. If a posture ever feels uncomfortable, do not hesitate to modify it or take a short break. Yoga is not a competition – every body is unique and different.

Focus on Your Breath

Don't Worry About Perfection
